Happy New YEAR! I bet most of my followers have given up on me. It has been 2 months since my last post. (ha ha, sounds like the beginning of a ...fill in the blank...anonymous meeting!) On top of the fact that we have been very busy at my house, I haven't felt like posting. Yeah, I let my mood determine if I am going to post. I know there are some that post everything that is going on in their lives, but I guess I typically like to stick to the happy good news. It has been a hard few months for myself and my family. However, I must also say that I do recognize the many, many blessings that I have in my life and though I may have trials, I know that others have it far worse than I. I am thankful for a healthy family, for a warm home, for a good job that I love, for financial independence, and for knowing that God lives and loves us all!
I do feel like I should "catch up" on all the posts that I've missed, I will try....we have been doing lots of fun things lately! Happy New Year to all! It is 2010 and anything is possible. The kids are doing well. Julia is a fun loving, beautiful 4 year old who has recently taken up doing anything that has to do with computers. She loves to play on her new Leapster, play computer games like on PBSkids.org, or play on my IPhone! Bryce is just shy of 18 months now and is as sweet and silly as ever! He also loves all things electronic, but especially daddy's PlayStation and controllers. He has also taken up biting me ....grrr! We are working on that one! Oh, and I have seen him tackle Julia a few times recently. I mention this because it is hilarious to see. Julia will take something from Bryce or do something that he doesn't like and the next thing you know Bryce has pounced her to the floor and about to bite her on the tummy or chest!!! I try to help her, but start laughing because it looks so crazy seeing this little boy tackle a 4 year old! Poor Julia still only weighs 32lbs, so she doesn't stand a chance! Not to mention she starts laughing too and would NEVER hurt her brother on purpose! What an awesome big sister. Don't worry, I manage to pull myself together and remove this crazy little boy from atop his sister! John has already started back to LVN school. He is in his second of three semesters. He seems to be enjoying it and learning alot too! I am just trekking along and enjoying the ride. I am working and always considering getting my CEN (certified emergency nurse) certification, but always seem to let that get pushed to the back burner. Maybe this year! This next week I'm going to focus on trying to get all the Christmas decor put away, organizing, decluttering, and just playing with the kids.
New Years Resolutions:
Lose 15 lbs
relish every moment with my family
go to church (so hard working night shifts!)
love unconditionally
be more Christ like
I will try to make time soon to do a few "posts I missed from 2009!"
